Maarssen, the Netherlands, 10 August 2023 – Eurofiber has appointed Elisabeth Hankeln as Managing Director Cloud Infra, effective September 1, 2023.

Elisabeth Hankeln (1975,  Vienna, Austria) is an experienced international business leader. At Philips Consumer Electronics, Philips Television and Philips Lighting, she held various senior management positions in the fields of strategy, marketing, product development and business transformation. After her time at Philips, Elisabeth joined Cordstrap, a global leader in cargo protection. As VP Product and Marketing and Member of the Global Executive Team, she led the commercial transformation for Cordstrap. Later, as VP Germany, she successfully guided the company in expanding its position in this highly competitive biggest market.

As Managing Director, Elisabeth Hankeln will be responsible for Eurofiber’s activities in the field of cloud infrastructure. Eurofiber Cloud Infra was established in 2021 as part of the Eurofiber Group in response to market needs for integrated IT infrastructure services. It offers a fully owned open cloud and network infrastructure, including its own energy-efficient Tier 3 data centers, a VMware Verified Private Cloud platform, a software-defined network between more than 90 datacenters in the Netherlands and Belgium offering direct links to Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and others.  Andrea Kraus, Chief Revenue Officer, says: “Eurofiber Cloud Infra has a strong portfolio of cloud and cloud connectivity solutions.
